| Anotation | The aim of this thesis is to use a questionnaire survey to determine the level and interrelationships of three selected variables - locus of control, environmental literacy, and therapeutic alliance with the key therapist among clients of the therapeutic community. A secondary aim is to describe how the selected variables change during treatment and whether they are interrelated. This study will use a quantitative research design, which will be implemented through a questionnaire survey using standardized tools. The DR-LOC scale (Shafie et al., 2017), Rotter's I-E scale (1966), WAI-SR (Hatcher & Gillaspy, 2006), TIC questionnaire (Xia et al., 2024), and ELSA questionnaire (Atabek-Yigit et al., 2014). The established hypotheses and obtained data will be processed using statistical methods, i.e., simple statistical analysis, verification of established hypotheses, and multidimensional statistical methods will also be used. The research results will be applicable in the practice of therapeutic communities. Experts point out that increasing internal locus of control and developing environmental literacy in a therapeutic community environment strengthen clients' personal responsibility, self-regulation, and self-sufficiency. Involvement in practical and sustainable activities promotes the perception of personal influence on life situations and contributes to long-term motivation and the maintenance of positive changes after treatment. |
