AnotationFloorball is a highly dynamic team sport in which shooting is a key skill that fundamentally determines performance success. Although previous studies describe the relationship between shooting speed and accuracy and compare shooting techniques, there is still a lack of detailed analysis of coordination patterns and movement variability in the context of the biomechanical mechanisms that shape these performance parameters. In particular, the role of coordination variability as a potential regulatory mechanism for the adaptation of the musculoskeletal system in optimizing shooting performance in elite players has been insufficiently explored. The proposed project aims to characterize differences in movement organization between pull and wrist shots in elite floorball players using advanced biomechanical methods and coordination variability analysis. The study will focus on the relationship between kinematic parameters, coordination variability, and shooting performance indicators (speed, accuracy), thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of motor control adaptation strategies under conditions of high demands on accuracy and speed. The results of the project can serve as a basis for optimizing training procedures, shooting techniques, and individualizing sports training.
