Anotation	The UBioESSENCE project aims to develop and pilot an open digital tool for assessing urban biodiversity and ecosystem services. This tool is designed to support effective and equitable planning of urban green infrastructure and to strengthen the capacities of city administrations, research institutions, and communities in adapting to climate change. The key difference compared to the current situation is the availability of functional, open, and data-driven tools, which are currently lacking in the region.
