Anotation | The use of information technology (mobile phones, tablets, computers) is a common part of the life of university students who use technology for both study and leisure purposes. The research will focus on identifying patterns of mobile phone use, including frequency and pattern of use, in order to better understand possible associations between intensity of use and subjective aspects of meaning in life and life satisfaction. The aim is to find out whether and how the use of these devices affects the overall well-being and existential perspectives of the younger generation. Methodologically, the research is based on a questionnaire survey that will be distributed among approximately 200 students. The questionnaire will be designed in collaboration with experts in psychology, sociology and public health. The questionnaire will include standardised questionnaires to measure life satisfaction and meaning in life, as well as questions on demographics, the use and frequency of mobile phones and other devices. The proposed questionnaire will be pilot tested and adapted based on feedback. Statistical analysis software will be used to process and evaluate the data to identify relationships between variables. After the data analysis, the results will be interpreted in relation to the objective of the study. This research provides insight into how information technology shapes the psychosocial health of young people and provides important insights for prevention and education programs focused on responsible technology use. |
