Anotation | Prostate cancer is a global health problem due to the increase in incidence and mortality. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plays an irreplaceable role in the diagnosis of cancer. MR methods are constantly being improved; today's trend is the quantification and determination of biomarkers in MR images. According to WHO, a new histological type of tumour has emerged since 2016: intraductal adenocarcinoma, associated with a cribriform growth pattern in the histopathological image. According to the evaluation systems used, this tumour is insidious due to its higher aggressiveness and minimal signs in the MR image. Our work will retrospectively evaluate 180 patients who underwent MRI examination. We will determine a possible biomarker (cribriform pattern) correlating with the cribriform growth pattern in the pathological image. The work will be performed as a double reading by two radiologists and two pathologists (correlation of the erudite and the erudite).Furthermore, the incidence of detected changes in the MR image and the proposed biomarker's incidence will be determined. This will indirectly determine the incidence of this type of tumour in the studied cohort. Given that urological recommendations exclude patients with this type of tumour from active surveillance, the need to confirm their markers appears to be essential. |
