| Anotation | The main aim of the project is to implement technology for monitoring the threats coming from the internet to the Faculty of Science wired network. This will be achieved by collecting and analyzing of information from probes located on entry points of the A building cable network. The majority of collected data will be analyzed automatedly while defining, testing and verification of rules for analysis automation will be one of the project?s aims. The minor part of data that will remain as unable to be classified automatedly, will be the subject of manual analysis. This activity will contribute to the further development of the CSIRT OU team that was established in 2018 be the rector as a task force. The necessary hardware (probes) will be subject of a long-term free rental, the necessary software will be purchased thanks to the support of another project. The only financial share of this project in the hardware will be a pair of TAP splitters. |
