The aim of the course is to introduce students to the special needs of pupils with certain types of disability, disease or disorder with regard to the possibilities of assisting these pupils. It considers specific needs that affect to varying degrees the normal life and educational situations of these people (working with text, multimedia, technology, motor skills, mobility and independent movement, spatial orientation; organisation of workplace, time, personal affairs and activities, communication with the environment and social inclusion, etc.). Emphasis is placed on gaining not only theoretical background but especially practical experience.
