Annotation:
The course introduces students to the basic theoretical apparatus of physical chemistry for the quantitative description of physicochemical systems. Emphasis is placed on thermodynamics, phase equilibria, chemical and electrode equilibria under idealized conditions and their applications. Students learn to work with models, relationships and calculations and understand their importance for the description of natural and technical processes.
Lectures are held in Czech language. Education materials and consultations are available in English for foreign students.
