The subject of professional practice is designed as a practical subject.
Professional practice will take place according to the practical teaching plan in cooperation with a mentor from clinical practice, who is a qualified expert in his field and will have appropriate preparation for the role of a teacher. Clinical workplaces for teaching will be selected based on established standards and will meet established standard criteria, the validity and compliance of which will be contractually ensured.
Objectives:
Students will become familiar with the structure of secondary care and with individual types of secondary care facilities, especially with the organization of secondary care services for women and children. Students will learn to assess the overall health status of women from the perspective of providing individual nursing care. Students will acquire basic nursing skills.
