The artistic culture of Europe from the Renaissance to the present day with an emphasis on the connection of human activities with the material base (craftsmanship), theoretical aspects of artistic expression (relationship to philosophy, aesthetic thinking, natural sciences), changes in ornament and its application in various materials; issues of art education; the formation of the cultural landscape from the Renaissance to the present day and changes in the environment.
