The objective of this subject is to acquaint students with the emergence of this borderline discipline and with its basic methods. After completing this subject the student orientate in chronology of developments in the field from the 50s of the 20th century to present. The student will have an overview of some major work and knowledge of Spanish sociolinguistics.
