Annotation:

The student will become familiar with the basic phraseological concepts and terms and units used in phraseology (collocations, locutions, paremia) with linguistic characteristics of these units (stability, institutionalization, idiomaticity). Formal and semantic aspects of each unit, their mutual relationship and also the relations to units of syntax and vocabulary (non-phraseological units will be taken into account. At the end of lectures we will discuss the pragmatic aspects of phraseological units.
