The lectures are thematically focused on the transformation of Czech literature of the 1st half of the 20th century. It monitors the emergence of the Modernism in the 90?s, the pre-war Modernism, the Czech interwar avant-garde and the avant-garde poetry antipode. Attention is focused on changes in a lyrical subject of symbolistic - decadent poetic, and poetry of so-called generation of Rioters, in proletarian art, poetism, surrealism, the transformation of poetics and poetic image of the older and younger generation during the war.
