| Anotation | As part of SGS 2026, I plan to build on my previous work entitled "COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF VIOLIN ACCESSORIES", in which we analysed the marginal and often overlooked issue of shoulder rests, which are linked to violin playing methodology. This is an interdisciplinary project with international reach and practical applications. Thanks to the SGS 2025 grant, we were able to highlight the importance of this issue and propose the connection with related fields of acoustics and biomechanics, along with an outline of practical output in the form of 3D printing. This modern production technique will allow us to verify the results of acoustic testing, apply the findings from the analysis in the design and production of prototypes, and prepare the basis for creating a biomechanical testing protocol, with which we will apply for TAČR SIGMA in 2026. |
