| Anotation | Natural and anthropogenic processes are interconnected within the landscape geosystem through complex networks of interrelated interactions. Traditionally, both individual components of the geosystem and segments of more complex chains of interactions and feedback loops have been studied separately. Combining these approaches enables a deeper understanding of how landscapes transform and function. Both specific natural processes and elements, as well as anthropogenic influences, are crucial, with the latter having attained a highly significant position among the dominant landscape-forming factors of the emerging Anthropocene. The project will focus primarily on geomorphological, fluvial, soil, and climatic systems. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the topics addressed, a wide range of methods will be employed, including geological, dendrogeomorphological, pedological, and microclimatological techniques, as well as remote sensing and statistical data analysis. |
