Job description

  • Leading a research team focused on the development of new methods for detection, separation and quantification of biochemically important molecules using nanostructured materials (nanoparticles, porous materials),
  • preparation, implementation and coordination of research projects, including cooperation with international partners,
  • active participation in teaching and preparation of new study programs, especially in the fields of biochemistry and bioanalytical chemistry,
  • transfer of research results into practice, including their commercialization through patents, spin-off companies and other activities.

Qualification requirements – required

  • third-level university degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related field
  • minimum of 10 years of research experience
  • significant scientific activity in the field of bioanalytical chemistry (biochemistry), documented by publications and other results (at least 40 publications in impacted journals, at least 500 citations, h-index according to WOS at least 15)
  • ability to communicate in English (minimum level B2)

Qualification requirements – preferred

  • proven experience in acquiring and implementing international research projects
  • experience with the transfer of knowledge into practice and commercialization of research results (patents, spin-offs, etc.)
  • experience with leading a research team

Research level

  • R3 – Established / R4 – Leading (research group)

  • 100 % (or by agreement)

  • 1 May 2026 (or by agreement)

  • English

Information about the selection procedure

The first round of the selection procedure will take place in the form of an assessment of the submitted materials. Only selected applicants will be invited to the second round.

The Dean of the Faculty is entitled to cancel the selection procedure or not to select any of the applicants without giving a reason.
