The Dean of the Faculty of Science, University of Ostrava announces a vacancy for

a postdoc position for the project MSK RRC/05/2013 - DT 1.
The postdoc will work in the team of the Life Science Research Centre supervised by Pavel Flegontov, PhD.

The expected start date of the contract:

1 January 2014

Requirements: The successful candidate must

be a citizen of a country other than the Czech Republic (or a Czech citizen who has been working at an institution abroad for more than two years)
have a PhD degree or its equivalent, awarded before the start of the contract (but not earlier than 1 November 2008)
be fluent in English
have published at least 4 papers in journals with impact factor (the candidate must be the first listed author of at least one of the papers)
have at least 2 years' experience in research in the field of bioinformatics, genomics, molecular biology or related areas
