The position was opened with the financial support of the European Union under the project OP JAK „Biography of Fake News with a Touch of AI: Dangerous Phenomenon through the Prism of Modern Human Sciences“ with reg. number: CZ.02.01.01/00/23_025/0008724.
Job description
- Participation in the project „Biography of Fake News with a Touch of AI: Dangerous Phenomenon through the Prism of Modern Human Sciences“, reg. number: CZ.02.01.01/00/23_025/0008724.
- Participation/collaboration in the implementation of research tasks in accordance with the needs of other members of the research team and partner institutions.
- Active involvement in basic and applied research in the field of AI and language models and its transfer to interdisciplinary studies in the social sciences and humanities, focusing on the detection, analysis, and dissemination of disinformation.
- Active involvement in research on the analysis and modelling of the semantic role of natural language determiners in disinformation texts employing fuzzy quantifiers.
- Contribution to outputs in the form of analyses, source codes, or scientific publications.
Qualification requirements – required
- PhD in mathematics/computer science or a related field;
- Field expertise: mathematics/computer science;
- Active knowledge of English (B2).
Research level
- R1 (PhD student level)
The expected form of employment
- 1,0 (or by agreement)
The duration of employment
- the contract with limited validity 1 year and with a potential prolongation
The expected start date
- 1 January 2026, eventually based on an agreement
