Job description
- guaranteeing courses and teaching in bachelor′s and master′s degree programmes in psychology
- supervision of university qualification theses
- participation in the state examination committees of Bachelor′s and Master′s degree programmes
- project management and participation in faculty research projects
- publishing in the fields of psychology, health and social care, social work or nursing
- participation in international activities of the department and faculty, including research projects and teaching of foreign students
- participation in the organisational support of research, teaching and the activities of the department.
Qualification requirements – required
- Master′s degree (Mgr.) in psychology and Higher education III. degree (Ph.D., CSc., DrSc., Dr.) or ongoing doctoral studies;
- Czech language competency – C2 level
- English language competency – B2 level
- Experience in teaching and supervising qualification papers, experience in research projects, active publishing in the field
Research level
- R2 or higher
The expected form of employment
- 2x by an agreement, in total max. 160%
The expected start date
- 1 September 2026 or by an agreement

Information about the selection procedure
The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the candidates by the assessment of the submitted materials by the selection committee.
The Dean of the Faculty reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to a personal meeting and the right to also not select any candidate. The Dean of the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava may also cancel or repeat the selection procedure.
