AnotationThis research project focuses on the study of the psychological aspects of coping with stress in the interaction between personality and environment with regard to the possible differences between men and women. At the centre of the research team?s attention will be both personality and situational variables affecting subjective perception, work-related and non-work-related conditions (an indicator of which will be the evaluation of levels of work-related and non-work-related stress and life satisfaction), and chosen ways of coping with stress. These variables will then be analyzed to reveal their potential connection with male/female differences and the acceptance of corresponding roles, in an attempt to identify causal interrelations.
