| Annotation: | The course aims to acquaint students with the historical development of a country which has influenced the whole world. Students are familiarized with the history of the United States of America from its birth to the present. The individual important historical periods are presented in chronological order, special attention is paid to significant events and important personalities. Students will be asked to look for historical parallels with other countries, put events into a wider context and analyze and interpret the individual events. |
