Annotation:The course follows up the contents of correlative courses 1OAJ1 - 1OAJ3. The focus is on the terminology of topics listed below which are also topics for basic genre analysis. On the background of these topics, students are continuously familiarized with grammar related to the discussed communication skills in both written and spoken discourse. The grammar in this semester concentrates on the use of concessive clauses, phrasal verbs, linking words for causes and results, adverbials and time expressions, passive voice with reporting verbs. Students discuss the problems of employee performance, rewards and motivation, or business ethics including corporate social responsibility (CSR). Students are introduced to professional terminology in the field of time management and change management, they are acquainted with language and communication strategies in urgent situations or when creating press releases. Students develop their ability to formulate a critical perspective, especially when analysing an authentic example of a Sustainability / CSR report.
