| Annotation: | The aim of the subject is to cultivate language expression of students, enrich their vocabulary, as well as to teach them to work with Russian belles-lettres in order to help them find positive relationship towards them and to acquire the artistic lexis they will be able to use later on in their studies. At the same time, an effort will be made to provide students with a basic overview of the artistic trends and movements in Russian 19th century literature and teach them to distinguish these streams on the basis of their typical features. |
