AnotationIn a postmodern society, where key institutions such as family fail, the assistance in the form of social work is particularly important, especially for children and their families at risk. With the emphasis of the above mentioned, we want to carry out research on the topic of critical reflexivity in social workers working with children at risk and their families. The aim of the research is to analyze and measure the critical reflexivity of Czech social workers working with the target group of children at risk and their families. The research is based on the sequential synergy of qualitative and quantitative research strategies. The qualitative research strategy will take the form of Critical Action Learning through semi-structured interviews, photo voice, and focus groups. Social workers from three organizations from three regions of the Czech Republic will be involved in the qualitative part. On the basis of the facts found within the qualitative research strategy, as a part of the quantitative research, we will measure and identify (translation of foreign questionnaires and inventories) particular areas/ components of critical reflexivity in Czech social workers working with target group of children at risk and their families. Within the quantitative strategy, the objective criterion choice will be used. Respondents will be chosen from minimum five different organizations from three different regions of the Czech Republic and the capital city Prague.
