AnotationThe composition of food is an important factor in of both treatment and prevention of diabetes. Failure to adhere to the principles of proper nutrition and poor lifestyle can result in DM II. type. Occurrence of DM II. type in the population rises, shortens life and poses a threat to patients. It adversely affects the quality of life by developing diabetic complications. Diabetes can cause kidney disease and is currently one of the most common causes of chronic kidney failure. Therefore, regular monitoring of patients with this disease is necessary to prevent kidney damage or at least to slow down the progression of kidney complications. This typical DM complication affects about 40% of diabetics. On the part side of patients there is a lack of co-operation, a low willingness to change the way of eating and lifestyle, and for many patients, the pharmacotherapy is in the first place when they consider how to solve this problem. By adhering to proper diet therapy, we can maximize the onset of late complications. This assumption is the main aim of the project. Partial targets are the assessment of biomarkers, especially those that can predict the onset or worsening complications of DM II. type. Values will be monitored on the nephrology patients and dialyzed patients. The project will contribute to the earlier capture of the onset complications of DM II. type to disseminate the information and the benefits of adherence to preventive diet therapy.
