AnotationThe intended SGS project is language-didactically oriented and will concern language transfers and interference (i.e. positive and negative effects of language A on the acquisition of language B) between Czech and two Romance languages, French and Spanish, which have always been in very close contact, influencing each other. We will focus on these linguistic phenomena: grammatical gender of nouns, prepositions and false friends. During the project solution, we will try to find answers to the following questions: What typical errors do native Czech speaker students make when learning French and Spanish as a foreign language? What are their causes? Conversely, what linguistic phenomena do not cause them major problems and for what reasons? The results of the language survey we will carry out will be put into context with the results of the SGS 2021 project focused on language contacts between French and Spanish (interference) from the perspective of Hispanophone and Francophone speakers. This comparison will allow us to better define positive and negative transfers typical for each nationality and their native language (Czechs, French and Spaniards). The publication plan includes writing a monograph in French and active participation at two foreign international conferences.
