| Anotation | The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the world and brought us limited options in education, so it is necessary to examine the changes that have occurred in teaching and learning materials. There is a need to find out what kinds of materials teachers and students are using, how and for what purposes they are using them, what is the proportion of teaching and learning based on digital resources, and what is the role of the textbook among all the different teaching materials. Therefore, the aim of the project is to carry out an empirical research investigation in lower secondary school on the use of educational media. Through the research to find out what educational media and for what purposes teachers use them in English language and Science. An important aim of the project is also to design and pilot test instruments for investigating the use of educational media. This project will use structured direct observation and in-depth individual semi-structured interviews. Participants will be selected to ensure maximum sample variability. We anticipate a sample of at least five English teachers and five Science teachers. Two teaching sessions will be observed for each of them. The collected data will be analyzed and interpreted through open coding. |
