As regards the numer of graves, it is the biggest explored medieval town cemetery in Czechrepublic. This site was the main burial place of German population of Brno. The aim of submitted project consists in basic anthropological and demographical research of human skeletal material from this cemetery so that it could serve to other archaeological and historical interpretations. In each individual the estimation of age will be realized, in adult individuals the estimation of sex moreover. These characteristics will be researched using the standard methods of skeletal anthropology. Thereunto in individual skeletons the anthropometrical analysis will be realized, it means bone measures will be found and analysed. Based on information regarding the sex and age structure the demographical analysis of the cemetery will be worked out.
