|Mechanical load of the lower limbs during landing on a different landing mats in gymnastics.

|The lower limbs represent part with the most incidence of injuries in sports gymnastics. These injuries occur as a result of uncontrolled or repeated landings in which athletes are exposed to forces several times over their body weight. Different types of landing surfaces are used to reduce this forces. Current testing of landing surfaces does not respect the biomechanical load of the musculo-skeletal system. The focus of this project is a new approach of testing using biomechanical analysis.
