AnotationThe project is connected to previous SGS research projects from Institute for Research and Applications of Fuzzy Modeling (IRAFM, methods of fuzzy mathematics and soft computing) and SGS research projects from Department of Informatics and Computers in Faculty of Science (development and application of evolutionary algorithms). In this research project, the particular cooperation of teams employed in the aforementioned SGS projects is proposed. The main aim is to utilize complementary knowledge of the research team members to enhance and advance in research areas studied in previous SGS projects. It also enables more intensive cooperation between members of IRAFM and departments of Faculty of Science. The following topics from areas of soft computing and fuzzy mathematics will be studied in this research project: A) Development of new variants of evolutionary algorithms. B) Applications of evolutionary algorithms to real-world problems. C) Study of selected parts of fuzzy mathematics employing modern evolutionary techniques. D) Study of time series employing modern methods of fuzzy natural logic and evolutionary algorithm. E) Study of modern approaches to studying fuzzy transforms and their applications.
