AnotationThe dominant position of cardiovascular diseases in the most frequent causes of mortality has long been emphasized by international organizations such as OECD or WHO, which also point out to their association with lifestyle risk factors, which can be a negative consequence of influences of many psychosocial factors. Currently, there is a continuous increase of incidence of chronic diseases that have influence of the quality of life of patients. Is more than important turn our attention to quality of life of patient with cardiac disease, because in most cases, cardiac diseases are chronic diseases, which are also connected to the presence of psychosocial factors, which can be one of the causes or consequences of these diseases. Timely and exact assessment of the quality of life and psychosocial factors related to cardiac diseases, should be a part of the routine diagnostic procedure. It is important to form a therapeutic plan and a plan of nursing care for the patients, with taking into account not only their subjective perception of the disease, but also with taking into account their current psychosocial status. Timely detection of psychological factors such as an anxiety or depression, which have been demonstrated for example in relationship with heart failure patients in many research studies, is also important for their timely treatment, and finally for the future quality of life of these patients. The aim of this research project will be to evaluate the quality of life and describe psychosocial aspects of the disease in patients with heart failure, by using selected tools.
