|Anotation||Research in artificial intelligence is being addressed by more and more people and technology companies invest more and more resources in it. Our knowledge of how to create systems with artificial intelligence is growing rapidly. This is further supported by a significant increase in the performance of computers, which can be used very well by these systems.
This project is a continuation of the project SGS04/PŘF/18. The project is focused on our research in the field of artificial intelligence, especially on methods and tools of artificial intelligence in applications, e.g. in autonomous robotic systems, intelligent houses, etc.
The project outputs follow up the results of the team members. Hybrid approaches based on methods of artificial intelligence,
especially methods belonging to softcomputing (i.e. neural networks, evolutionary techniques, uncertainty decisions, etc.), allow to create interdisciplinary adaptive methods which use the advantage of individual approaches.
These objectives correspond with the research focus of the Faculty of Science, specifically following the directions of the research at the Department of Informatics and Computers: Soft Computing for IT.
