AnotationThe issue of including people with disabilities into society is characterized by many specifics in the Czech Republic. In the recent years, we belong to the states aware of responsibility for removing barriers that don´t allow people with disabilities fully participate in the daily life. In the Moravian-Silesian Region, we put emphasis on conceptual solutions of inclusion, together with equal and active approach of society and people with disabilities, too. However, we are not satisfied with the current situation and it is a challenge to the existing system of support people with disabilities. The community of people with disabilities is highly diversified, individual types of disability differ in their degree and range, but also in conditions and support of living in society. The main aim of joint project of students and academics is to contribute the implementation of new trends into complex support of people with autistic spectrum disorder and children with multiple disabilities, and to maximize awareness lay public and also professionals, through the realization and findings of partial researches. Using individual quantitative and qualitative surveys are analyzed the areas of early care, planning, strategy and support of education and diagnostic processes, the area of professional preparation in relation to the future employment in the labor market, the related social services and care. The last monitored are so-called supported groups and their role in the life of the family with a disabled child. One of the main results of the project will be two monographic publications that provide insight into the lives of people with autistic spectrum disorder and children and pupils with multiple disabilities.
