Anotation The Instrumental Piano Literature Festival is a unique platform for interconnecting the teaching objectives of the Department of Keyboard Instruments with the practice of contemporary students, OU graduates and pedagogues of the ZUŠ of the Moravian-Silesian Region. On the background of acquaintance with contemporary Czech piano literature for children, there will be a series of lectures, seminars, an interpretation course and a concert recorded by Czech Radio within two days. The KKN students and KKN educators are very much involved throughout the project, and we welcome experts on the issue. The fourth year will be dedicated to Bohuslav Martinu and Vítězslava Kaprálová. The focus of the event lies in a course for children from the Moravian-Silesian Regional Art School, their teachers and students of the Faculty of Arts, led by MgA. Ivo Kahánkem, Ph.D. from AMU in Prague. From the whole event, a tutorial program will be created, framed under the subject of History and Literature of the Piano, which will provide all the information about the composers and of the year, not only to the students of OU, but also to the teachers of the ZUŠ and the Conservatoires, who have sent their representatives. While working with this program, we work very closely with the art disciplines of the Faculty of Art of the University of the Arts.
