Anotation	The current project unites three on-going research programs at the Life Science Research Centre, University of Ostrava led by doc. Vyacheslav Yurchenko, Ph.D., doc. Marek Eliáš, Ph.D., and Pavel Flegontov, Ph.D. Its main focus is evolutionary and functional genomics in trypanosomatids (Yurchenko), anthropogenetics (Flegontov), Cilliate evolutionary biology and features of the non-canonical genetic codes (Eliáš). A truly unique attribute of this proposal is a connection of very wide range of the biological models (from viruses to humans) and experimental approaches.
