| Anotation | The purpose of the submitted Project is to determine the number of hearing impairment, severity and type of hearing loss and to assess the significance of the genetic factors which account for the origination of hearing loss via the form of the epidemiologic study of 30 000 cases. Results of the Project will contribute to the early identification of individuals with hearing impairment and the successive determination of preventive actions including recommendations and instructions with minimum requirements on screening methods and connected diagnostic techniques, including genetic consultancy. |
