AnotationThe project concentrates on the monitoring of philosophical thinking around the year 1000. This age is an epoch of noticeable development of autochthonous topics in the Latin philosophy of the 10th and 11th centuries (with the most famous philosophical person - Anselm of Canterbury), usually treated with references to the Neo-Platonic and Augustinian contexts of thought. In an analysis of sources, the project aims to bring out the presence of the peripatetic tradition in those documents and consecutively, the project hopes to demonstrate this presence in choosing topics of the thinking then, for example: the dispute over the interpretation of Boethius, the shape of logica vetus with all important protagonists of this development, the disputation about the role of dialectics, the eucharistic discussion etc. The research will be focused towards two main orientations: on the one hand, to logical and methodological themes and on the other, to metaphysical problems.
