Open Science

As part of the project Biography of Fake News with a Touch of AI: A Dangerous Phenomenon through the Prism of Modern Human Sciences, we are committed to the principles of Open Science. This means applying the principle "As open as possible, as closed as "” to all aspects of our research, both for the research community and for the general public (citizen science). This makes it easier for us to share our research results in a range of different forms. It also ensures the reproducibility of our research, so that scholars worldwide can build on our findings using their own datasets.

Sharing our outputs on an open access basis guarantees that everybody can engage with our research – facilitating a global dialogue with our peers that ultimately helps to enhance the quality of our research.

In order to share our research results openly and promptly, we publish pre-prints of selected outputs on dedicated pre-print servers prior to the peer review process.

We publish our research data in accordance with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). This enables us to maximize transparency in all our research.

At the University of Ostrava, we are fully committed to the principles of Open Science. More information about the University’s Open Science Strategy can be found on our website.
