Annotation:Characteristics: The teaching is focused on introduction to the basic issues of surgery. It takes place in a combined form of an introductory lecture, presentations, teaching at the patient's bedside, seminars with discussion on individual topics. Objectives: - acquisition of general theoretical knowledge about surgical and related fields - mastery of basic surgical procedures and basic practical skills - to obtain prerequisites for further study of special surgery subjects. Theoretical group - 10 - 20 students Practical group - 5 - 10 students Practical group clinical teaching - 5 - 10 students (max. 1 - 2 students / 1 patient, 3 - 4 students / 1 teacher) Case related teaching Small Group Communication
