The aim of the course is to introduce students to important and current journalistic genres, to teach them to navigate them, to understand them, to analyze their content and linguistic aspects, to translate and create short journalistic genres. The course is focused on practicing receptive skills for working with short journalistic genres and especially on acquiring productive skills in creative writing. The student learns to write some short journalistic genres, e.g. press release, report, announcement, column, essay, gloss, review, interview and at the same time penetrates the specifics of Internet journalism.
