It covers the psychological benefits of exercise, aspects of sexual health, family planning, pregnancy, and childbirth. Students will investigate behavior change processes, illness perceptions, and the relationship between stress and illness. The course also delves into pain, the placebo effect, and the psychological impact of chronic illnesses like obesity, coronary heart disease, and cancer. Finally, it offers practical stress management techniques and strategies for improving life satisfaction and well-being.
