Annotation:	The course aims to establish the key themes, terms and concepts in the field of terminology with the respect for professional/specialised text. The focus of the course is on the relation between terms and communicative contexts they are used in, and subsequently on the texts' translation (in scientific, technical, economic, legal, mass media contexts). Students will also examine the traditional approaches to terminology and they will be trained to work with corpus and software tools so as to carry out the analysis of professional texts (AntConc, Termbases).
