Annotation:1. Define economic geography, explain the relationships between two key topics of economic geography - firm location and regional economic disparities, focusing on their effects on real estate markets. 2. Define and explain the process of economic globalization and its impacts on the localisation of economic activites and uneven economic growth - processes that significantly affect the development of the real estate markets at local and regional level. 3. Describe and explain localization factors and soatial patterns of selected economic sectors and industries, focusing on the role of land rents as one of the key localization factors of firms at intra-urban level, discuss the effects of spatial distribution of selected industries on the real estate development at local level. 4. Theoretically discuss and empirically ilustrate relationships between urban/regional competitivenes/resilience/adaptability and real estate markets.
