Annotation:	Course provides students with basic knowledge of foreign lexical borrowings in the Czech vocabulary from the historical and semantic point of view, loanwords used in various types of terminology and discourse, formal adaptation of borrowings in relation to various linguistic levels (orthographical, phonetic, morphological, syntactic), as well as changes of meaning during the process of adoption.
