Annotation:The subject "Critical Social Work" will introduce various perspectives in social work, specifically structural, radical, critical and anti-oppressive and its implications for social work practice. It will discuss the history of critical social work and its leaders. We will look at values and ethics in critical social work (diversity, social justice and equality). The topics of oppression and empowerment will be closely and carefully discovered. The students will be appraised with radical tactics used in critical social work, specifically with open letter, petition, demonstration or occupation. We will also learn about community organizing, leadership and social movements.
