|Annotation:||The lectures and seminars are a sequel to the course of lectures on 19th century Russian literature. Their aim is to make students acquainted with basic creative streams, personalities and their artefacts. From the methodological point of view the lectures and seminars reflect the new conception of the interpretation of the development of 20th century Russian literature with regard to the changes in spiritual, cultural, social and political life in Russia. Special attention is devoted to the literature of historical break points and cataclysms, previously tabooed and at present so-called "revisited literature".
Subject contents: the elaboration and presentation of papers, supplementary papers and the following discussion on the given issues. In the process of the papers' preparation the emphasis is placed on the complex analysis both of the intellectual and morphological side of texts, on use of primary and secondary literature and on the ability to form one's own critical opinions. At the same time the check of reading of original Russian texts according the compulsory reading list takes place. The subject is taught in Russian.
