Annotation:The aim of the course is to introduce students to the discipline Linguistics of Text. In the lectures, students becomes acquainted with its subject of study and with basic definitions of terms such as text (its acceptability, adequacy, informativeness, intention, intertextual relations, situational context), statement, cohesion, coherence, recurrence / repetition, substitution, ellipse, speech connectors etc., and their classification. In seminars, students work with texts to analyze specific examples of text organization and use of textual means. The course assumes that the student will be able to master part of the curriculum by self-study. The course is taught in Spanish.
