Annotation:The content of the last term of master's studies is exclusively the realization of the artistic and theoretical part of the University Qualification Work (UQW)and preparation for the expert part of the oral final examination. The UQW project, in its scope (often measured by its own artifact dimension), and by the nature and quality of the material used and the complexity of the workmanship, exceeds the usual form of term or year projects. The student proves the ability to design and create a work of art at a professional level that apply at current exhibition practice. The theoretical part of the final student thesis is structured as a text study focused on the broader context of the topic of practical work. It also includes an author's interpretation of the work, a factual description of the methods of its creation and detailed picture documentation of the practical work. Theoretical lectures aim to consolidate knowledge about the studied field, to the extent needed for the final examination. Consultations with the teacher also focus on the overall knowledge recapitulation and skills being acquired and honed during the studies and tries to factually describe the level of results achieved and clarification of how to make use of them in further practice.
