Annotation:The aim of teaching the Graphics Studio 7 in the master's degree program of Graphic Design and Drawing, specialization Graphics is to focus on: - studying contemporary trends in graphic design and graphic techniques - reflection on contemporary artistic practice, - working with new media in printmaking and their use in Master´s degree projects - the ability to formulate one's own themes and their forms of realization - the ability to conceptualize an artistic project in its entirety and its finalization - presentation of one´s own projects in the context of contemporary visual art scene - the position of contemporary printmaking in the set of classical art media, its overlaps and spatial, installation and conceptual possibilities - the contemporary art scene, its possibilities, limits, and predictions of further development -student presentations on any chosen artistic topic closely related to the discussed subjects, artists, etc., reactions to contemporary art practice, e.g.: exhibitions, projects, site specific... - the phenomenon of photography - conveying information on new graphic and printing techniques and materials - the meaning and psychology of colors in graphics - intuitive and rational solutions of composition of surface design in graphics - running realization of one´s own Master´s degree project Work continues on the personal master's project. Reflection on the choice of the topic and the choice of the graphic technique of the thesis. Individual discussion of the first sketches and projects of the thesis. Assignment and information about the theoretical part of the thesis. Recommended literature. Reflections on the conception of the theoretical and practical part of the thesis. Topical expert information useful for the successful progress and implementation of the thesis.
