Annotation:Based on knowledge and skills acquired during Graphics Studio 3, students develop specified topics in the form of graphic medium (relief printing, intaglio, lithography), with regards how to maximally apply visual means of selected graphic medium in the project concept. When working on the topic, the student can choose a combination of graphic techniques or use overlaps to other media. The idea solution of the topic and output forms are getting elaborated and directed towards the final output in the discussion with the peer. Emphasis is placed on the definition and process of solving the given issue, experimental approaches in the context of output/implementation graphic medium. Historical and technological aspects of the creation and development of desktop graphic printing techniques. Current use of lithography technique. Distinguished lithographers. Introduction to serigraphy, screen printing. A technique known from Asia, in its present form developed and perfected in the USA (1929). Other printing techniques - algraphy, author offset, offset printing machine, collotype, xerox. Xerox options and limits as a standalone technique. Xerox as an auxiliary technique in the installation of free graphics and serigraphy. Use of plotter, use of photography and other marginal printing techniques in serigraphy. Digital technologies and desktop printing, screen printing. Art technology modules, 2D and 3D workplace at Centre of Digital Technologies. Lectures in Graphics and Drawing specialization includes expanding and strengthening existing knowledge and skills in the field of DTP, prepress and postproduction using new devices and technologies. The Department of Graphics and Drawing builds a new workplace in 2018 - Digital Technology Centre, (abbreviation CDT) drawing on a development project. This includes: - prepress workplace with new scanning unit 3D scanner and flat panel scanner - the 2D printing workplace and related UV technologies will be upgraded, printer of 470x400 cm with a new PC workplace - cutting unit, plotter 400x300 cm with a new PC workplace - 3D printing with 200x200 cm printer with PC workplace and 100x100 cm printer with new PC workplace Up-to-date information about exhibitions, publications, catalogues, and literature in the Czech Republic and worldwide.
